Ganesh Puja Vidhi: Beginner's Guide
Why Ganesh Puja Comes First
In Hindu tradition, Lord Ganesha is always worshipped first before any other deity or ritual. Known as Vighnaharta (remover of obstacles), invoking Ganesha ensures your puja or new venture proceeds without hindrances. Whether you are starting a business, moving into a new home, or beginning daily worship, Ganesh Puja sets the foundation.
Best Time for Ganesh Puja
While Ganesh Puja can be performed any day, Tuesdays and Chaturthi tithis are especially auspicious. Check the panchang for the exact Chaturthi date each month. Sankashti Chaturthi (Krishna Paksha) and Vinayaka Chaturthi (Shukla Paksha) are the most popular days for dedicated Ganesha worship.
