Ekadashi dates in Bengaluru
The fast breaks next morning, but only inside one window.
The eleventh tithi of each fortnight, kept as a fast for Vishnu, so it comes round twice a month.
When it falls
What to do
The part households get wrong is not the fast, it is the breaking of it. Paran is the next morning, on Dwadashi: after sunrise, after Hari Vasara (the first quarter of Dwadashi) has passed, and before Dwadashi itself ends. That is often only a two to four hour window, and because it is built from sunrise it moves with your city. On the fortnights where the panchang splits Smarta and Vaishnava dates, follow your own family's line.
Keep ready: Know your paran window before the morning arrives, not during it.
