2. Description of Service

Purohit is a platform that helps you:

• View daily panchang (Hindu calendar) information
• Find auspicious muhurats for ceremonies and events
• Generate kundali (horoscope) based on birth details
• Find and book purohits (Hindu priests) for pujas and ceremonies
• Access devotional content and spiritual resources

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of Purohit, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Not misuse the platform to spam or harass purohits or other users
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or hack the application
• Provide honest reviews and feedback

5. Purohit Listings and Bookings

Regarding purohit bookings:

• We facilitate connections between devotees and purohits but are not a party to the service agreement between them
• Purohits listed on our platform are independent service providers
• We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or accuracy of any purohit's services
• Payment terms and cancellation policies are between you and the purohit

6. Astrological and Panchang Information

Important: Panchang, muhurat, and kundali information provided by Purohit is for reference and devotional purposes only. This information:

• Is based on traditional Hindu astronomical calculations
• Should not be the sole basis for major life decisions
• May vary based on different panchangam traditions and regional practices
• Is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified jyotishi (astrologer)

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of Purohit is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Purohit are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Purohit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for any disputes between users and purohits
• We are not liable for decisions made based on panchang or kundali information

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
