How it works
1. Register
Your name, city, the pujas you perform and the languages you speak. It takes about two minutes, and your page goes live straight away.
2. Install the Purohit app
Sign in on the app with the same number. Requests from your area arrive there as notifications, so you hear about a puja soon after someone asks.
3. Take up what suits you
Open the request to see the puja, the date and the area. If it suits you, accept it: you get the person's number, and they get yours.
4. Settle it directly
We do not handle the booking or the payment. What you agree with the person stays between you and them.
Your own page to share
You get a page with your photo, the pujas you perform, your languages and the areas you serve. Forward it to anyone who asks, or put the link in your WhatsApp profile. It is yours.

How do I register as a pandit or purohit?
Fill in the form: your name, city, the pujas you perform and the languages you speak. Verify your number with a one-time code and your page goes live. It takes about two minutes.
Is this a job? Do you pay a salary?
No. Purohit.app is not an employer. You stay independent: people who need a puja reach you through us, and you agree the puja and the dakshina with them yourself.
How do requests reach me?
On the Purohit app. Install it, sign in with the number you registered, and each request from your area arrives as a notification. Requests can also reach you on WhatsApp.
Can I choose which requests I take up?
Yes. You see the request first and take up only what fits your dates and the pujas you perform. Nothing is assigned to you.
Who decides the dakshina?
You and the person who asked, between yourselves. We do not set rates and we do not handle the payment.
Do you check or verify purohits?
We check only that the phone number is yours. We do not vet or certify purohits. People speak to you directly and decide for themselves.
Can I register if I live outside India?
Yes. Enter your number with its country code, for example +44. Requests from people in your city reach you the same way.
