Common questions in Yadgir
How do I book a purohit in Yadgir?
Tell us the puja you need in the form above - the puja, your area in Yadgir, and the date if you have one. Purohits in Yadgir see your request and contact you directly on call or WhatsApp. You speak to them, agree the details and dakshina, and confirm directly.
How soon will a purohit contact me?
It depends on availability - purohits respond themselves, usually within hours when someone in your city is free. Adding your puja date and any specifics (language, venue) helps the right purohit respond faster.
Purohit, pandit, pujari, vadhyar - is there a difference?
Different words for the same person, by language: purohit or shastri in Kannada, panditji in Hindi, vadhyar or sastrigal in Tamil, pantulu garu in Telugu, purut moshai in Bengali, guruji or bhatji in Marathi, maharaj in Gujarati. A pujari is usually the priest at a temple; a purohit comes to your home for the puja. Ask for whichever word you use - the request reaches the same purohits in Yadgir.
What pujas can I book in Yadgir?
Any puja - Griha Pravesh, Satyanarayan Puja, Ganesh Puja, Ganapathi Homam, Rudra Homam, Shraddha and every other. If yours is not in the list, describe it in the form and it reaches the purohits in Yadgir all the same.
What does a purohit cost in Yadgir?
Dakshina varies by the puja and the purohit - smaller pujas typically run a few thousand rupees, elaborate ceremonies with havan more. You agree the amount directly with the purohit before confirming; nothing is paid through the site.
