Annaprashan card in Hindi
Free forever: an image for WhatsApp and a PDF for printing, made right here.

The first rice ceremony card in the words of Hindi family cards, with the शुभ मिती line and the Vikram Samvat for your muhurat and town.
The card is free forever, with a small "Made on purohit.app" line at the end of the card. To remove the line, pay a small fee of ₹10: it helps us keep Purohit.app running.
What goes on the card
The card opens with "।। ..." for a son, with the grandparents in a bracket, and the date the North Indian way: "...
We found no printed Hindi annaprashan card to copy, so the other lines follow Hindi family cards for the mundan and the wedding: the request to come with your family and bless the baby ("... , the havan and the प्रीतिभोज under "मांगलिक कार्यक्रम", and "विनीत" over your names. Ask your purohit or an elder to read it before you print.
An example, as the maker writes it

Questions people ask
When is annaprashan done?
Most commonly in the sixth month for boys and the fifth or seventh month for girls. In Bengal, mukhe bhaat is often in the sixth or eighth month for boys and the fifth, seventh or ninth for girls. Your purohit fixes the muhurat; our annaprashan guide explains the customs.
What should an annaprashan card say?
Who invites, the baby's name, the ceremony (annaprashan, mukhe bhaat or choroonu), the date with the muhurat and the tithi line, the venue and the lunch. The maker writes it the way printed Indian-English cards do: "... solicit your gracious presence & blessings on the auspicious occasion of the Annaprashan of their beloved daughter", and in Hindi as अन्नप्राशन संस्कार, with the शुभ मिती line, as well as in Telugu and Tamil.
Can I print the Bengali date in brackets on an English mukhe bhaat card?
Yes. Bengali cards often print the English date first with the Bengali date in brackets. We do not work out the Bengali date yet, so copy it from your panjika or your purohit and type it into the date line box, which is always editable.
Is my child's photo or our address uploaded anywhere?
No. The card is drawn on your own phone or computer, and the photo, the names and the address stay there. Only the date, time and town go to our server, to work out the date line.
What does it cost, and can I change it later?
Nothing: making the card and downloading the WhatsApp image and the print PDF are always free, with no sign-up. The card carries a small "Made on purohit.app" line at the end of the card; removing it is a small fee of ₹10, paid once for this card by UPI, card or netbanking, which helps us keep Purohit.app running.
