Two kinds of Telugu card: one that names only the ceremony, and the traditional one Telugu families have long printed.
The card is free forever, with a small "Made on purohit.app" line at the end of the card. To remove the line, pay a small fee of ₹10: it helps us keep Purohit.app running.
What goes on the card
The first card names only the ceremony, "ఓణీల వేడుక" or "లంగా ఓణీ వేడుక": the స్వస్తిశ్రీ line with the date and muhurat, the girl as "చి॥ ...", and a request to come and bless her. We found no printed card of this kind, so its sentences follow other Telugu cards; ask an elder to read it before you print.
The second is the traditional "రజస్వల ఆహ్వాన పత్రిక", which says what the occasion is, as many printed Telugu cards do: "మా ఏకైక పుత్రిక చి॥ ... తేదీ ... పుష్పవతి అయినది." It asks guests to bless her and accept the family's hospitality ("చిరంజీవిని ఆశీర్వదించి మా సత్కారము స్వీకరించి"). Choose which one under "What do you call it?".

Langa voni, half saree function, manjal neerattu vizha: which name should the card use?
The one your family uses. These are the Telugu and Tamil names for the ceremony that marks a girl's coming of age (puberty), when she first wears a half saree. Choose the name under "What do you call it?" and the card's title and sentence use it; the card itself uses no other word for the occasion. In Telugu you can also choose the traditional రజస్వల card, which says she has come of age, as many Telugu families' cards do.
Who is named on the card? Should the maternal uncle be?
The parents or the grandparents invite, and the girl is named in the middle. Where the family names the maternal uncle, add his name and the card prints a line for him.
Is a photo needed?
No. The card is complete without one, and our sample cards never show one. If the family wants a photo, add it: it stays on your phone and is never uploaded.
What does it cost, and can I change it later?
